The Alabama Blount County Tax Collection Amendment, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed to consolidate the functions of the tax assessor and tax collector in Blount County into one office.[1]
