Alabama Cellular Radio Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 3, 1998, election ballot in Alabama as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that revenue received from the tax imposed on cellular telecommunication services could be applied to paying the obligations of the Alabama Revolving Loan Fund Authority.[1]
