The Alabama Colbert County Tax Collection Amendment, also known as Amendment 13, was on the ballot in Alabama on March 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. This measure proposed to allow Colbert County to create one office that would result from the consolidation of the offices of the tax assessor and tax collector.[1]
