The Alabama Concerning County Taxes and Bonds, Amendment 11, also known as Amendment 11, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 5, 1961, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that any previously obtained excess revenue from the 1947 Calhoun County special school tax act, which are not needed to payback bonds issued under the act, would be used to acquire, construct and improve public school buildings.[1]
