The Alabama Constitutional Change Applying to One County Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that amendments to the constitution that applied to only one county of the state could be approved based on a vote in that county only.[1]
