The Alabama County BusinessLicense Tax, Amendment 9, also known as Amendment 9, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 5, 1961, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed to allow Bullock County the power to levy and collect a business license tax for funding education. The tax must be passed by the electors.[1]
