The Alabama County Court Fees, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 5, 1912, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended. The amendment proposed to authorize the legislature, by general or local laws, to fix, regulate or alter the costs, charges of courts, fees, commissions, allowances and salaries to be charged or received by any county officer of Jefferson county, including the method and basis of their compensation.[1]
