Alabama County School Tax, Amendment 11 (1969)

The Alabama County School Tax, Amendment 11, also known as Amendment 11, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 9, 1969, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that a district school tax be levied and collected of no more than five mills in Calhoun County. The above must be first approved by a majority of electors.[1]
