Alabama County Taxes and Debts, Amendment 7 (1963)

The Alabama County Taxes and Debts, Amendment 7, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 10, 1963, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that the educational boards in Coffee County are authorized to issue and sell warrants, which would be paid for by the revenue generated by any special educational tax. Furthermore, such revenue would be used to refinance previously issued warrants.[1]
