The Alabama Court Clerk Appointments, Amendment 6, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 5, 1967, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that the judges of the state Supreme Court would appoint the court clerk and that the legislature would establish the method by which inferior court clerks are chosen.[1]
