The Alabama Court Fees and Charges, Amendment 4, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 6, 1956, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that the legislature may fix, alter, and regulate the costs and charges of courts in Walker County, and the method of disbursement.[1]
