The Alabama Employees' Retirement System Amendment, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 8, 1994, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that certain county officials would be authorized to participate in the state's employee retirement system.[1][2]
