The Alabama Forensic Sciences Bonds Amendment, also known as Alabama Amendment 6, was on the November 3, 1998, election ballot in Alabama as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed a $17.5 million bond issue to support the improvement of forensic science education, research and facilities in the state.[1]
