Alabama General Law Amendment (1978)

The Alabama General Law Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 7, 1978, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that after January 1, 1979, no general law may be enacted by the legislature if it applies to only one municipality unless proper notice is given.[1]
