The amendment proposed that, for a period of one year, a special County tax of one mill on each dollar of taxable property in Limestone County would be levied and collected, the proceeds of which shall be used exclusively to finance a geological survey of Limestone County; provided, however, that any amount of tax collected in excess of the amount necessary to finance the geological survey shall be used for general County purposes.
