Alabama Jackson County Officials Amendment (September 1977)

The Alabama Jackson County Officials Amendment, also known as Amendment 5, was on the ballot in Alabama on September 13, 1977, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that, subject to the approval of voters in Jackson County, certain Jackson County officials would be employed on a salaried basis.[1]
