The Alabama Lauderdale County School Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 15, was on the ballot in Alabama on March 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that, subject to approval by voters, each local school district in the county could levy a property tax to support the capital outlays required by the public schools in the district.[1]
