The Alabama Marengo County Economic Development Amendment, also known as Amendment 10, was on the November 3, 1998, election ballot in Alabama as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed a number of activities that could be conducted by Marengo County and municipalities located in the county for the purpose of promoting economic and industrial development.[1]
