The Alabama Mobile County Ad Valorem Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 19, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that a portion of the ad valorem tax in Mobile County that was approved for mosquito and pest control could be used for general health purposes.[1]
