The Alabama Mobile County Judicial Vacancies Amendment, also known as Amendment 19, was on the ballot in Alabama on March 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed a procedure to be followed when filling judicial vacancies for the circuit and district courts in Mobile County.[1]
