The Alabama Morgan County Constable Amendment, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in Alabama on September 13, 1977, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that, subject to approval by the voters of the county, the position of constable in Morgan County would be abolished.[1]
