The Alabama Poultry Industry Promotion Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that members of the poultry industry could levy a voluntary assessment upon themselves to be used for the promotion of poultry and poultry products.[1]
