Alabama Prison Bond Amendment (1978)

The Alabama Prison Bond Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 7, 1978, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed to authorize a $15 million bond issue to support the building and improvement of prisons in Alabama.[1]
