The Alabama Regional Airport Amendment, also known as Amendment 18, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 8, 1994, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that Franklin County, the City of Red Bay and local governments in Mississippi could join together to create a regional airport to be located in Alabama.[1][2]
