The Alabama Shelby County Real Estate License and Transaction Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 21, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 8, 1994, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. This measure proposed that Shelby County could impose a tax on real estate licenses and certain real estate transactions and operations.[1][2]
