The Alabama Shrimp and Seafood Promotion Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 2, 2004, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed to allow the assessment of fees upon shrimp and seafood industry members in order to support the promotion of their industry in the state.[1]
