Alabama Special County District Tax, Amendment 10 (1965)

The Alabama Special County District Tax, Amendment 10, also known as Amendment 10, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 30, 1965, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that Baldwin County would be authorized to levy and collect a special district tax of no more than 50 cents on each $100 of taxable property in precincts one through seven for the purpose of funding public hospitals. The above must be first approved by a majority of electors.[1]
