The Alabama Special District Tax, Amendment 11, also known as Amendment 11, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 5, 1967, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that Walker County would be authorized to levy and collect a special district tax not to exceed 50 cents on each $100 of taxable property in District Two to help fund a public hospital.The above must be first approved by a majority of electors.[1]
