The Alabama State Education Lands, Amendment 7, also known as Amendment 7, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 9, 1969, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that the legislature is authorized to divest the state of its titles to school properties in Mobile County. Such properties and their income may be made in grant to the University of Alabama.[1]
