The Alabama Unified Judicial System Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 18, 1973, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed to repeal Article VI of the constitution and to create a unified judicial system in the state.[1]
