The Alabama Washington County Roads Amendment, also known as Amendment 21, was on the ballot in Alabama on March 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed that Washington County could issue bonds and levy fees to pay for improvements to public roads and bridges.[1]
