The Alabama Waterway Funding, Amendment 3, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Alabama on December 9, 1969, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed to amend the constitution. The amendment proposed that the state would become indebted up to $4 million in general obligation bonds for state dock projects.[1]
