Alabama: Judge Adrian Johns, of the Baldwin County Probate Court, has announced that he will retire on April 8 of this year. Johns, 62 years old, has held the position for 15 years and stated that his reasons for deciding to retire included wanting to spend more time with his family. So far state Governor Bob Riley has not asked Johns about prospective replacements and primary elections for the position are held in June.[1]
