Alabama: James "Pete" Bridges, who owns a company affiliated with the Chickasaw gambling hall, has filed suit against the state of Alabama, its governor Bob Riley, and the governor's Task Force on Illegal Gambling. Bridges filed suit after electronic bingo machines, valued at a total of $750,000, were seized from the gambling hall. Bridges is joined by charity that would have benefited from gambling revenue in his lawsuit that aims at securing compensation for the machines, as well as, for lost profits. The suit was filed at the Montgomery Circuit Court.[1]
