Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a working-class candidate who is running because my community deserves better representation. I am a published researcher, an activist and organizer and I was born and raised in Nashport, Ohio, where I grew up golfing and raising rabbits and baking goods with 4-H. I graduated with honors from Tri-Valley High School, then studied Psychology at Miami University of Ohio, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. While in college, I presented and published research about ADHD and emotion expression and worked on local and presidential campaigns. In 2018, I organized with Indivisible in Florida, then returned to Ohio to work on a Congressional campaign in Butler County. I've studied in Germany and worked in Japan and I came back to my hometown to fight for a neglected working class.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about sustainable economic growth because it is a multi-method cluster of policies that encapsulate other pressing issues in Ohio and the country. Economic growth means investing in green jobs that will help correct for the devastating effects of climate change, providing affordable housing and living wages to recent college graduates and other members of the working class, and protecting bodily autonomy and offering affordable healthcare so individuals and families don't have to go bankrupt to receive the care they have a right to.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I have looked up to Sherrod Brown for as long as I can remember. Many Ohioans are rightfully skeptical of politicians of every office, but Brown has remained consistent in his values for his whole career. He is unapologetically progressive and can easily connect with a working class that respects a strong economic message that happens to be progressive.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

The historical event that had the most impact on my life was the Stock Market Crash of 2009. It was a reality check for me. I was in middle school, but my parents were transparent with me about our family's financial situation and told me then that if I wanted a good education, then it would be up to me. So I decided then that I would do everything it took to get a good education without crippling debt. I received early admission to Miami University of Ohio and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Psychology in 2019.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

My first job was with Starbucks Coffee Co., and I have actually worked there for the past six years. I worked to put myself through college and I continue to work as a Shift Supervisor while I run this campaign.
