Recall reports

An effort to recall three members of the Alamo Navajo School Board in New Mexico was approved by voters on March 12, 2019. Bucky Apache, Hector Guerro, and Steven Apache were defeated and replaced on the board by John Apachito, Charlotte Guerro, and Raymond Apachito, respectively. The recall election occurred nearly one year after the three board members were accused of malfeasance related to extravagant travel expenditures, according to the El Defensor Chieftain.[1]
