|Although Emily and I don’t have kids of our own yet, we’ve always had a passion for helping kids learn. Emily has worked as a reading tutor in Roseville Area Schools, and I was a high school theater director for seven years. My favorite play to direct was Charlotte’s Web, left.
I now work as a tax preparer/consultant and a business support associate. I also enjoy bartending on the side at US Bank Stadium. A highlight for me was working during the Vikings’ biggest comeback in history!- We currently spend $20,000 per student in Roseville but only 38% of our students are proficient in math and only 50% are proficient in reading. We can do better with the resources our community puts into our schools.
- Many teachers have left our school district because of safety concerns. I will work to provide safe classrooms for our teachers and students.
- I will work to build trust with parents and encourage parental involvement in our schools.
