Alan L. Pearson

Alan L. Pearson was a judge of the First District of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1985 and retired to senior status in July 2008. At the time of this retirement, he was the chief judge of the First District.[1]
Biography and Education
Pearson was born in Ames, Iowa. He received his bachelor's degree in 1968 from Iowa State University and his law degree in 1971 from the University of Iowa.[1]
Career
Pearson worked for Legal Services, in a county attorney's office, and as a private practice lawyer until his judicial appointment in 1985.[1]
