Alan Lemons is judge of the Scioto County Court of Common Pleas Probate/Juvenile Division in Portsmouth, Ohio.[1] He was elected on November 4, 2014, to a term that expired on February 8, 2021.[2]

Education

Lemons received his undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University in 1982 and his J.D. degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 1985.[4]

Career

Lemons served as a magistrate for the Scioto County Court of Common Pleas Probate/Juvenile Division from July 22, 2013, until he joined the Scioto County Court of Common Pleas on January 1, 2015. He previously practiced law with the firm of Miller, Searl and Fitch in Portsmouth, Ohio, for twenty-five years, and served as a prosecuting attorney in the Scioto County Prosecutor's Office.[5]
