A husband, father and grandfather, Alan Sibley is from Ackerman, MS and a lifelong resident of Senate District 15. Alan is a renowned Bluegrass/Gospel musician and host of RFD-TV’s nationally televised “Bluegrass Trail”. Alan is also a conservative activist in Mississippi.
  • Mississippi needs constitutionalists in our state legislature that will accept the responsibility of containing the reach of government within the framework provided by the Constitution.
  • Mississippi needs to pass the “Second Amendment Preservation Act” and become a sanctuary state for our Second Amendment gun rights.
  • Mississippi’s state legislature should restore the initiative and referendum process.

In Mississippi our Governor is a figurehead.. the Lieutenant Governor as president of the state senate has more power to drive policy in the state. Yes, the Governor can veto legislation, but a 2/3 majority in the legislature can override his veto.
Eliminating the state income tax, stop wasteful spending, shrinking the state’s bond indebtedness, securing individual liberties, and reforming our broken education and healthcare systems
Honestly.. no I don’t. I think it’s beneficial for state legislators to be Christians, principled individuals, with a substantial knowledge of public policy and a good understanding of the US Constitution and the Mississippi Constitution of 1890.
No.. Conservatives in Mississippi have compromised too much already.
