Campaign themes

2016

The following issues are featured on Yim's campaign Facebook page. For more campaign themes, click here.

  • The War on Terror: The war on terror and it's consequences are a massive failure and only serves to create more enemies. This is not any sort of way to act as a society that was founded on the principles of liberty for all.
  • The Jones Act: Hawaii is heavily impacted by the regulatory restrictions established by the Jones act and would see immediate benefits from it's repeal. I am the only candidate running for the US house seeking to change this bad law to help Hawaii and the nation overall.
  • The War on Drugs: If there were no prohibition on cannabis people would not be trying to create synthetic alternatives with dangerous side effects. It's time to end the war on drugs and treat addiction as a medical issue, not a criminal one.
