Alaskans for Fair Redistricting

The Alaskans for Fair Redistricting (AFFR) was a nonpartisan coalition of American Indian organizations, unions, individuals, and civic groups advocating for redistricting reform in Alaska.

Mission

The mission of AFFR is to achieve a fair redistricting plan for Alaska; the group worked "to protect the voting strength of Alaska Natives as required by the federal Voting Rights Act." They submitted a plan to the Alaska Redistricting Board on March 31, 2011.[1]
