Albert B. Smith III is a judge for the Eleventh Judicial District of Mississippi.[1] He was appointed by Governor Ronnie Musgrove in July 2000.[2][3] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins in 2015 and expires in 2018.[4][5]

Smith defeated Charles B. Graves, Jr. in the general election for the Mississippi Circuit Court, winning 81 percent of the vote.[6][3]

Education

Smith earned his J.D. from Mississippi College in December of 1983. He passed the Mississippi State Bar examination in February of the following year.[2]
