Albert Wheeler Coffrin (December 21, 1919-January 13, 1993) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Vermont.[1]

Judicial nominations and appointments

District of Vermont

Coffrin was nominated to the District of Vermont by Richard M. Nixon on May 3, 1972 to the seat vacated by Bernard J. Leddy. The U.S. Senate confirmed him on June 8, 1972, and he was commissioned to the court the next day. Coffin was the Chief Judge of the District of Vermont for five years, from 1983-1988. He assumed senior status on January 31, 1989 and his service terminated on January 13, 1993 when he died. Coffrin was succeeded in this position by Fred Parker.[1]
