Albert Tate, Jr. (1920-1986) was a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Federal judicial career
Tate was nominated to the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit by Jimmy Carter on July 31, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629. He was confirmed by the Senate on October 4, 1979 and received his commission on October 5, 1979. Tate served the court until his death on March 27, 1986.[1]
