Ballot question

The ballot question was as follows:[1]

Shall the City of Albuquerque issue $5,050,000 of its general obligation bonds in support of the Workforce Housing Act to provide resources for the construction and rehabilitation of high quality, permanently affordable housing for low to moderate working families, including affordable senior rental?[2]

This measure was put on the ballot through a 6-0 vote of the Albuquerque City Council on August 19, 2019. Three members of the city council were excused from voting. Mayor Timothy Keller (D) signed the bill for the measure on August 22, 2019.
