Ballot question
The ballot question was as follows:[1]

Shall the City of Albuquerque issue $1,790,000 of its general obligation bonds to study, plan, design, develop, construct, reconstruct, rehabilitate, renovate, repair, refurbish, modernize, preserve, maintain, expand, enhance, landscape and otherwise improve, and to acquire artifacts, exhibits, furnishings and equipment for City-owned museums and cultural facilities?[2] |

Path to the ballot
This measure was put on the ballot through a 6-0 vote of the Albuquerque City Council on August 19, 2019. Three members of the city council were excused from voting. Mayor Timothy Keller (D) signed the bill for the measure on August 22, 2019.
