I am a retired Paramedic/Firefighter, working presently in the developing of new cancer treatments. I like to represent District 1 of South Carolina in the US House of Representatives for one term, and possibly a second if the people of District 1 in South Carolina will choose to have me. I do not think the ideas, the needs and/or the way of life of the people of this district have been properly represented for a long time. The ideology of our government have been to one extreme or another of the social, financial, and political spectrum.

We need to come together as a community of 400 million people. We may not agree on certain aspects of life and ideas, but I believe we all want to live a peaceful life, in freedom, and able to discuss the issues that concerns us without fear of retribution and/or shame. I do not believe we need new laws. The constitution gives us the parameters and rules we should all live under. We just need to respect them and enforce them when needed. I believe people that want to live in this country should be allowed to do so. However, they should be invited, vetted, and accepted lawfully. Our borders should be protected and the immigration laws should be enforced and not manipulated as they have been for the last decade an beyond. A strong military, will put the fear of God on our enemies and give the comfort of peace to our allies.

Education and knowledge are the basics of a respectful society based on understanding and comprehension.
  • We are capable of unity and common sense
  • Our borders should be secured
  • We should work and able to live a decent life based on our efforts and wages.
Our children should be educated for free.

Our taxes should be spent responsibly.

Public transportation should be improved nation wide.

Health services should be affordable to all.

Politicians should not become millionaires while serving the people. The separation of powers and the check and balance of the different branches of government should be respected.

The separation of Church and State should not be broken.

Social Security and/or retirement should be based on individuals choices and contributions.

This list is not based on priorities, and should not be assumed it is.
I think everyone should watch the first episode of HBO's "Newsroom" with Jeff Daniels, and realize what and where we actually are as a nation
Represent the ideas of the people that elected one to this office, and makes them fit and be prioritized fairly in the the nations priorities
The potential to represent the entire country and bring together the needs of the people, and make their lives better. However, the corruption, bureaucracy, and personal interests, has stopped this great system, set off by our founding fathers, to reach greatness in the last 40 years.
All elected officials should be accountable to those that have voted them to office.
NO! for that reason we should have term limits. I do not comprehend how elected officials become millionaires on a government salary. However, we live in a democracy and those who received the majorities vote have the right to govern.
The homefront challenge is to continue to believe in our form of life, capitalism, and be able to resist the socialists ideology of those who do not understand our socio, economic, and political structure.

Iran, as well as China and North Korea in the Global front. We all know now what Russia is about.

No, because I believe in term limits, the ideal term should 4 or 6 years.
If the president has a term limit, all elected officials should too. No exceptions.
Munchin and McCain were senators that I respected and respect, as well as Graham. Maybe Boehner from Ohio.
Yes, within reason and common sense. Senator Munchin represents the best of the Democratic Party and Senator Graham the best of the Republican party. However, the likes of Ocasio Cortez, and her cronies, as well as the likes of those in the far right.
The House is responsible to initiate and to approve the annual country budget. This is a huge responsibility for the well being of the nation and the people.
