Saul Alejandro Rodriguez is an obesity/public health advocate and fitness coach.

He was born in Brawley and was raised in Westmorland, California.

In 2001, he graduated Chula Vista High School. In 2007, Paramedic School at Imperial Valley College. He has worked in both pre-hospitals and hospitals settings.

His life mission began in 2015, after a long conversation with his mentor. He began advocating for better public health in our community and called on local agencies and organizations to adopt better support systems that encourage healthy habits. He also introduced, The GETSET Initiative, a general plan to help improve public health conditions while stimulating local economies and trade.

Since then, he has seeded restaurants, fitness centers, independent newspapers and an internet company. He has also helped organize free community events, nutritional workshops and cooking classes. But after feeling a sense of unfulfillment, in 2018 he walked away from his business dealings to dedicate himself full time to his life mission.

His political career started in October 2019, when he launched his first campaign for public office as a candidate for the 51st US Congressional District of California. His opponent is a 4 term "Political Machine" Democrat.

Career politicians is what created the mess we are currently witnessing unfold. The fact is that normal hard working Americans no longer trust those career politicians, not the institution themselves.
The greatest challenge is fighting the idea that socialism is great for our community. We must also address the impending public health disaster that possess a national security threat, obesity and poor public health.
I agree we should impose term limits to members of congress.
