Alek Skarlatos
Alek Skarlatos (Republican Party) is a member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 4. He assumed office on January 13, 2025. His current term ends on January 11, 2027.
Skarlatos (Republican Party) ran for election to the Oregon House of Representatives to represent District 4. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Alek Skarlatos served in the Oregon Army National Guard from 2012 to 2017. In August 2015, Skarlatos and four others stopped a terrorist attack on a Paris-bound train traveling from Amsterdam. His heroism earned him multiple honors, including the U.S. Army's Soldier's Medal and France’s Legion of Honor.[1][2]
